Storyline
The film was released in 1974, but makes reference to real events that took place in the USA that were headlines in that year. Those events, such as the Watergate scandal, President Ford's pardon of Nixon, and the killing of university students by the US National Guard and various states police forces during protests to end the participation of USA in the Vietnam war, help raise the quality of the film's plot and its central message of love and peace.
